I was delighted to collaborate with Cywaith Dawns | Dance Collective CIC in partnership with Oriel Mostyn on this exciting project.
In Obstacle, I worked with four local dance artists — Bryn Thomas, Louis Ellis, Eli Williams and Lisa Spaull — alongside harpist Helen Wyn Pari, to create a performance responding to Trap-A-Zoid by Rosemarie Castoro, installed on West Shore Beach.
This project was a meaningful opportunity for me to connect with the local artistic community in North Wales. Together, we explored movement, space, and sound, developing a shared creative language inspired by the sculpture and its environment.
